When rundutec GmbH founder Roland Marsch and Udo Stermann worked as Manager for an international automotive parts supplier in the independent aftermarket in Germany, Austria and Switzerland the rundutec philosophy was formed. Both wanted to develop tailor-made sales concepts together with their customers. In 2005 the firm decided to sell the promising battery business and Roland and Udo saw themselves at a turning point.

To find a name for their own business was easy: Roland und (and) Udo in combination with Technic. rundutec^® was born. But first they needed to find the right products that met the high-quality requirements for rundutec^® sales concepts. Roland Marsch and Udo Stermann traveled all around the world and met with battery manufacturers in Asia and Europe to check their production quality first-hand.

Hence, a longtime collaboration with one of the worldwide Top 5 manufacturers from South Korea started. But this was just the beginning. Meanwhile a network of suppliers for highest quality TS/ISO 16949 certified products was established to ensure the best performance of rundutec^® products.

Because of the intense competition in the IAM we want to create long-term and lasting growth for our customers. Our more than 25 years of experience in the IAM equips us with the tools to develop and implement individual sales and marketing concepts for every customer. Our partners profit from this know-how.

In 2011, we continued to broaden and complement our product portfolio with rundutec^® Professional Test- & Charging equipment and Motorcycle & Back-up batteries.
